Category 6
Category 6 (Class E, extended to 475MHz) designed for data transmission speeds up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-T). It can be used in different types of networks, such as LAN, WAN or SAN, and is designed for connections between network devices such as routers, switches or computers. It is also suitable for audio and video transmission. In order to maintain the declared parameters, according to the standard, the maximum length of the cable section (transmission path) should not exceed 90 m, assuming that two patch cords with a length of no more than 5 m are connected to the terminations (keystone module or patch-panel). The advantage over category 5e is the fact that on shorter distances (up to 37-55m) the transmission path based on category 6 components can achieve data transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbps. Category 6 products are backward compatible with lower-category components such as patch panels or RJ45 keystone modules.

Unshielded/Unshielded Twisted Pair (U/UTP ) cable .
Due to susceptibility to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and external noise, which affect the quality of data transmission, unshielded cables should be installed at an appropriate distance from electrical and signal wires and devices that may be a source or carrier of electromagnetic interference. A plastic separator in the form of a cross separating individual pairs of wires has been placed in the cable in order to reduce crosstalk between pairs.
